A CONSIDERED WAY FORWARD

From the first ideato a place that feels yours

Every project starts with listening. Then we shape the plan, coordinate the work and bring the details together.

FOUR CLEAR STAGES

Thoughtfully planned.
Carefully brought to life

Follow the journey from the first site conversation to a finished outdoor space, with one clear step at a time.

01 LISTEN & VISIT

First, we get to know your space

Every good garden begins with listening. We look at the site, learn how you want to use it and understand the practical details that will shape the work.

  • Your priorities, routines and ideas
  • Sun, shade, wind, access and existing conditions
  • Scope, practical constraints and budget direction

What this stage gives youA shared brief rooted in your place and the way you want to live.

01Seeing the site, listening to you

02 DESIGN & PLAN

Shape the feeling. Solve the details

We turn the brief into a coherent direction for the space. Layout, materials, planting and features are considered together so the design feels natural and works in practice.

  • Concept and spatial layout
  • Planting, finishes and feature selection
  • Clear design decisions to review together

What this stage gives youA considered plan that makes the next decisions easier.

02Every element has a place

03 COORDINATE & BUILD

Bring the plan into the real world

With the direction agreed, we coordinate the work on site. Materials, specialists and installation details come together in sequence, with attention to the finish and the setting.

  • Coordinate site activity and project details
  • Bring materials and specialist work together
  • Resolve the small details that make a space feel complete

What this stage gives youA carefully coordinated build shaped around the agreed design.

03Made with care on site

04 FINISH & SUPPORT

A finished space, ready to grow

We walk through the completed work with you, share the practical care guidance for your new garden and make sure you know how to look after the details as the landscape settles in.

  • Review the finished space together
  • Understand the plants, features and their care
  • Know who to contact if you need guidance

What this stage gives youA thoughtful handover and a confident start to life in your new space.

04Made to grow with you

THE CHANGE, MADE VISIBLE

See the space
find its purpose

A garden is more than the finished photograph. It starts with a real site and a set of practical questions. Drag the line to move between the existing terrace and its garden transformation.

THE THOUGHT BEHIND THE FINISH

Details that make
the whole garden work

The visible planting and finishes matter. So do the quiet decisions underneath them. We consider the whole setting, so beauty and everyday use can sit comfortably together.

01

How the space flows

We think about how you arrive, move through the garden, sit, gather and connect it to the rooms around it.

LAYOUT · MOVEMENT · USE
02

What the site asks for

Light, shade, wind, access and existing conditions all inform what belongs in the space and where it should go.

SITE · CLIMATE · CONTEXT
03

What sits beneath

On terraces and other built spaces, we consider the existing structure and the practical layers needed for drainage and protection.

STRUCTURE · DRAINAGE · DETAIL
04

How it will grow

Plant choices and placement are considered for the conditions, desired feeling and level of care that suits your household.

A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS

Before we
get started

Every project is different, but these are some of the first questions people bring to the conversation.

Ask us about your space ↗
What should I share before the first conversation?

A few photos or a short video of the space, your location, what you hope to do there and any early ideas are a helpful start. It is fine if your thoughts are still taking shape.

Can you work with an existing design or partly finished space?

Yes. We can discuss what is already in place, what you would like to keep and where you want help. The right scope depends on the condition and requirements of the site.

When will I know the project scope and budget?

We first learn about the site and your priorities. Once the requirements are clearer, we can discuss a suitable scope and the information needed to prepare a proposal.

How involved do I need to be during the work?

We keep you involved in the decisions that shape your space and coordinate the agreed work with you. We will talk through the communication and site-access plan before work begins.
